Woohooo! Good News!

We found the second really unique things in the UK, between Weymouth and Portland. This is a 29 km long, 200 m wide and 15 m hight shingle beach, the Chesil Beach. (the first was Dartmoor)

Megtaláltuk a 2. igazán egyedi dolgot UK-ban, egészen pontosan Weymouth és Portland város között. Ez egy 29 km hosszú, 200 m széles, 15 m magas kavics strand, a Chesil Beach. (az első Dartmoor volt)

This place is part of the Jurassic Coast and the UNESCO World Heritage Site. And I understand why. When we had walking 1,5 hours on the shingle beach and the sun just f*cking shining I felt myself like an Star Wars character. 

/ Természetesen maga a hely a Jurassic Coast és az UNESCO Világörökség része is. Teljesen egyértelmű hogy miért. Mikor már másfél órája gyalogoltunk a kavics strandon, a kiba*ott  napsütésben úgy éreztem magamat mint egy Star Wars karakter.

From the othersite it seemed really cool, but you have to calculate with this special walk, like a hard training.

/ A másik oldalról nagyon királynak tűnik a hely, de számolni kell a speciális sétálási körülményekkel, kő kemény – hahaha – edzésre számítsunk. 

The Weymouth – Portland border with a bridge full with little beaches, really moody.

/ A Weymouth – Portland határ, hidastul telis-tele van kicsi strandocskákkal, nagyon hangulatosak. 

The begining of the Chesil Beach full with different type of birds, flowers, and yes, here you can find some green area as well.

/ A Chesil Strand eleje még tele van különböző madarakkal, virágokkal, és igen, még zöld területeket is lehet találni.

Later you can more enjoy the shingles with some strange, little fisher houses.

/ Később már főképp csak a kavicsokat élvezhetjük, na meg a furcsa, kicsi, halász házacskákat.

And what about the two cities? Who knows? We spent more than 4 hours between the shingles, after that we didn’t feel the power for the city tour. We drank a coffee and walked a little in Weymouth, where was a small, one stage festival. It seemed promising – with that Elvis butcher – , so we are going to return!

/ És mi a helyzet a két várossal? Ki tudja? Több mint 4 órát töltöttünk a kavicsok között, ezek után nem éreztük magunkban a komoly városnéző erőket. Tehát betértünk egy kávéra és egy rövid sétára Weymouthba ahol éppen egy kis, egyszínpados fesztivál zajlott. Nagyon ígéretesnek tűnt a hely – leginkább az Elvis hentes fogott meg – tehát már tervezzük a visszatérésünket!
